It's a collection of essays and discussions of other books and thus not the best introduction to Gellner's thought. However, for those who like to nationalism against Marxism, many of the texts here deal exactly with this. Others are about specific cases (Masaryk and Havel in Czechia, Ataturk in Turkey). In the end, I think most of these essays are better read on an individual basis.
