I love this man’s writing skill! Very much enjoying this story.

I’m only at the beginning, but already I am carried away and in love.

I’m having a hard time enjoying this one. The dual timelines feel clunky and the author seems determined to hit the reader over the head with her intended social commentary. Reba is a hollow construct of a character, as are most of the characters in her storyline.
If I wasn’t reading this for book club, I would probably have given up by now. Here’s hoping it redeems itself by the end of the novel.

I am so absorbed by this book and really enjoy feeling transported to rural India. I am curious about the characters and engaged with the plot and the rhythm. Very enjoyable read so far. 💕

This book slowly, sweetly, but surely, grabbed hold of my heart. Now it starts it’s slow, certain squeeze; and I know it will start shredding it to pieces soon. 🥰💔

Eh. I’m not really enjoying this book yet. I don’t like the male narrator, Theo. None of the characters have really grabbed me; nor has the plot so far.

I’m literally laughing out loud. This is a really fun read! So clever, and sexy too.

I’m not overly impressed thus far. 😕 It feels predictable and a little formulaic. Here’s hoping it improves.
