Darran Mclaughlin is on page 20 of 821 of K-punk: The Collected and Unpublished Writings of Mark Fisher
I've started reading this again after a break. I'm enjoying it. It's a breazy read, which makes sense as the pieces were all blog posts. Fisher has criticised Alan Moore a couple of times in this, which feels like a contrarian position for a British critic who loves pop culutre to take.

Darran Mclaughlin is 25% done with Capital: A Critique of Political Economy, Volume 2
Not going to lie, this one is a struggle. Really boring, technical stuff. I'm definitely going to have to read David Harvey's companion to understand this.

I was over halfway through this when I lost my Kindle a few weeks ago. I'll have to pick it back up when I get a new one

I was perhaps half way through this when I lost my Kindle. It's bloody annoying, especially because I had a lot of books on it. Anyway, I'm paused on this at the moment

Darran Mclaughlin is starting Pride and Prejudice
Just finished re-reading all of the Song of Ice and Fire books and thought I need to read something completely different. I haven't read Jane Austen in possibly 15 years and I have only read Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey before so it's time to read one of her most popular ones.

I'm up to essay 27, which means I am 16% of the way through as the Kindle doesn't tell you your page number for some reason. I have enjoyed it so far and found Montaigne as contemporary and engaging as I had been lead to believe he is, but I'm going to dip in and out of it rather than plough straight through a book of 1344 pages.
