This book is so hard to get through ... I get that internalized homophobia and casual homophobia are a real part of peoples' stories, but I hate hate hate it.

Honestly this is a really cute book but Jo is starting to grate on me because I really don't understand why she can't tell Mary Carlson?? It really makes no sense??
