I’m refining my philosophies with Bradbury’s guidance. Good stuff.

The footnotes are not at all helpful. It’s amazing to find origins of so many sayings cited here. I feel like I’ve found a fountain of literature and knowledge in this work. But seriously, the footnotes clarify nothing.

This is life-changing reading for me. I’m seeing things in a different light. She’s a great writer.

I count this as poetry each day that I read it.

I might have actually finished this. I don’t know. I use it a lot as a reference so I’m constantly running from one section to another.

This is too hard to follow as an audiobook while I drive. I’ll need to switch to the actual text.

Fascinating. I’m learning a lot about a subculture I’ve never known.

I’ve missed watching The Americans. Reading this is a solid substitute.

The writing style reminds me of Capote’s, but maybe because I’m reading both at the same time.

I mean…he’s not wrong. The advice so far still holds. Also, students haven’t changed a bit!

This book is making me feel very good about keeping my Barbie dolls, enjoying cartoons, and taking my kids out to the circus.

The poetry is hilarious. I’m finding the root sources for a lot of little things I’ve read or heard through the years. I feel like this book has inspired many authors since.

I’m learning so much! The history may not be quite right, but the spirit is excellent.

It’s an interesting premise. I’m looking forward to the rest.

This book has been worth re-reading. I got the intellectual gist of it (as Owl might) in my first read. Now, I see how my Rabbit-like life has been unnecessarily exhausting 😅🙃😮‍💨
