A Career Mission is driven by a desire to solve a particular set of problems. Your job is just whoever happens to be paying for you to do your mission at any one time. A career potentially spans many of these mission oriented jobs.
Having a mission helps you decide how to work: which projects to say yes to and which ones to pass on.'

Up until this point I was enjoying learning about the Russian Night Witches, the flying tactics, and battles in Russia. Then there was a sudden shift. Alex - "Oh, Lilya, I know nothing about you except you're a pilot. I love you. Come to America with me after the war." Lilya - "Oh, Alex, I know nothing about you except you're a photographic journalist. I love you."
It really interrupted the flow of the story.

I'm loving the detail the author goes into when explaining the culture of the times the Bible was written, the translations from the original Hebrew and Greek to English, and how the culture and the translation work together to give meaning.

Skylar and Loren are SO much more interesting than Cameron and Blair.
