Reading the physical book for a memoir (I know, who am I?!) and can hear her voice in my head. A national treasure! Already obsessed!

Listening to this while eating is not a good idea. What in the actual F?

I’m sorry. I can’t. Writing is perfectly fine, but I’m just not interested in the characters at all.

Kind of basic so far. Oh no, am I in a reading slump?! lol

I think I need to DNF this so close to the end. I feel like it’s draining me and keep putting it down. I may be wrong but it just feels like a suburban white mans unauthentic account of what he thinks a ghetto town would be like. Sorry to all the people who gave it 5 stars. Don’t cancel me! Can somone spoil the ending for me so I don’t have to use Chat GPT haha.

This book is insane so far! I can already tell it’s going to make the best tv series of all time. I’m torn between savouring this and reading a few pages a day or devouring the rest tonight.

Into it so far and I can tell it’s going to be an intense amazing read. But don’t love when a white writer throws the N word around so much. Difficult to read.
