I first read this book back in 1984 or 1985 when it was new. I remember how impressed I was with the quality of the writing and I quickly becam a fan of Timothy Zahn. I had long since lost the paperback copy that I had and came across this hardbound edition on Amazon, which I bought to add to my personal library. I decided to break it out again for a re-reading 30 years later to see if it still held up with me.
