Nearly there now....

I'd just like to say that the HBO cover of this book, which is the one on my copy of the book, is just awful and this ticks me off a little bit.

after reading the chapter on 'no' i have opened my eyes to a new world

Sceptical. I should have liked very much to be in that room doing the pretend hostage negotiation with this Voss guy cos for whatever he described the situation to be, I couldn't stop thinking of a 10 ways I'd have handled it and got him to give up instead.

but maybe that's cos im dumb. or maybe cos i work in sales and know that if either side has a fixed budget, it's deal or no deal and absolutely no negotiation.

this is actually quite good

so this was for free on audible so i thought what the hell 'bout time we read some fiction and i downloaded and, well, it's new! i've never read chick-lit before so, yes, quite new

also - i didn't know this was book 2, oops

The funny thing about this book is that while it has a great rating on GR, nearly all my GR friends have given it a mediocre review??

it's just as the title says - this guy has got to be kidding. just read that chapter where uncle sam rejected dick for being psychiatrically deficient - i'm so dead, haven't laughed that way in so long God

so far so dull

This is more interesting and absorbing than my driving playlist sometimes, and definitely more interesting than this other sci-fi novel I'm listening to despite being as depressing it is. It's like Noam is spilling the tea on the big dogs haha...ha hah ;_;
