Picked this up because I was in the mood for a fantasy that feels like Emily Wilde but with dragons. But not sure how I feel about the writing in this? The fmc is a bit bland? There’s a big science vs faith aspect that has kind of hit me left field and I’m not sure that’s what I really signed up for… I’ll keep reading but this might be my first dnf of the year :(

I am loving this so much. It felt a lot like the Fourth Wing set up at the beginning, but it's finding it's feet and I'm obsessed with the romance!!
