i maintain that viktor and veronica are too similar names to be a couple

i remember thinking these chapters were really long when i was being forced to listen to this on audio but they are categorically long lmao

i really wanna be done

i’m having fun all of a sudden

truly why am i reading this

bartholomew is bones (get it)

i haven’t read xaden’s chapter yet but just wanted everyone to know i love sgaeyl more than anything

gotta find out how to catch a black brb

not even a lauren layne is curing my anhedonia

i will finish this!

necessary reread

i suspect i will not be reading 120 books this year

sigh… gotta catch em all

if any book is going to make me want to read fantasy again it’s this one- however i’m already not having fun

i’m out of books at the cottage so i’m reading random shit

that chapter got three laugh out louds

really enjoying so far

the quality difference between this and last book— STAGGERING

okay i’m ready for this to b over

ngl reallllyyyy bored rn but i must persevere

and he wasn’t even a woman

i was unfortunately intrigued

this might seem trivial to some… but i do think my biggest critique of this book is that you’re telling me this woman is an SNL writer and she hasn’t even tried to make me laugh once??

imagine writing a 106 page chapter and thinking that’s a normal thing to do

i don’t think this man has worn anything other than black sweater. black tshirt. black slacks. where is your stylist?

all that just for them to cave literally immediately??????????

i know this is only the prologue backstory chapter setting up the rest of the book… but so far this plot is stupid as shit

i was trying to do a reread of something i knew i would like but it just backfired bc im now thinking wow my brain is different than it was when i last read this and i don’t wanna read it anymore
