reread for me. flash back to my teen years Zombie Raising, Vampires and Supernatural Investigations, yes please

I do not remember reading this before but its been 20 years. Found in a dollar bin and it is now my beach read.

Why am I doing anything else but reading. This is phenomenal.

And the audio was yanked from my libby. Darn

I'm listening to this and they are doing a fabulous job. I do love the letter format. But I may need to detox with a Hawthorne or a Lovecraft that doesn't do dialogue and is overwhelmingly description of scenery.

"Oh they said it would be catered. We could have just done this whole thing over chat and there would have been fewer decapitations."

Loving it!

I was expecting one twist but not the next one.

I'm liking this.
I tried reading it the first time and it all just came off as a huge eye roll.
Listening however, the narrator does an excellent job and I find myself chuckling every once and a while with her comments.

The writing is more philosophical then I was expecting.
Sometimes long winded and a bit whip-lashy when the narration switches between indigenous wisdom moves to scientific observation.
