I was expecting one twist but not the next one.

I'm liking this.
I tried reading it the first time and it all just came off as a huge eye roll.
Listening however, the narrator does an excellent job and I find myself chuckling every once and a while with her comments.

The writing is more philosophical then I was expecting.
Sometimes long winded and a bit whip-lashy when the narration switches between indigenous wisdom moves to scientific observation.

Well I have to say I'm loving listening to it.
My daughter is going to rub this in my face.

I'm trying this again.
I don't wanna.
But I figured listening to it I'll make it further than before.

I'm loving this more than I thought I would.
Why did I avoid this for so long.

With a temp and my eyes burning out of my head. All I can do is listen. I save Amor Towles like candy for occasions I need especially good reading. I never thought id tear up at a recitation of the Gettysburg Address but omg. Wolly. I just want to hug everyone in Towles books.
