I've just logged my 800th book on Goodreads. Out of these how many could I truly remember or even write a sentence about? I think the real Good Reads are the ones that you can recall a character from, or those that you still think about long after reading them. I will revisit some of my four and five star books, and see what I can remember, and if they truly earned that rating.

This is tedious despite Clare Corbett being the narrator. Almost there.

Really enjoyed book one, short break before book two.

I kinda like this but finding it hard to get through? Not even sure why. Part of me thinks I should start again but will keep battling between books.

It's really good.... but I'm not yet convinced that it's "special".

Let's see... so far so good, but nothing you wouldn't find from an average chick-lit writer.

Less immediately relatable than Jerusalem but glad to have started... again, a very easy read so far.

I cannot stress how brilliant and funny and easy to read this book is. Of course, things could go downhill from here, but it's up there with a Prayer for Owen Meanie for me. Beautiful.

It's true - the boy has been choking on a cough sweet for almost 150 pages.

so far, really good. Getting to know the characters now, as they watch Shameless on TV.

10% Update - so far, this is really very good. No storyline. But lots of stories.
