This is one of those books, where nothing is really happening. But it’s still really cool and exciting. And you keep saying “I’ll just finish this chapter” and then you finish that chapter and you start the next one without really realising it …

Is it groundbreaking and the best I’ve ever read? No. But I’m having a great time.

So far very similar to the movie. One regret I have from watching the movie first is knowing the plot twist. But I’m still enjoying things a lot!

Also, learned something about microwaves — turns out you don’t want to use one where the grid in the door is broken …

And now to something completely different y — let’s see if Andy Weir works for me.

Second book of this Bornholm trip.

We’re getting to the penultimate of this. And I’m still not sure who it could be … but I have a few guesses

I forgot Katabasis before leaving for Bornholm. Luckily I brought the perfect read for being in a cabin in the middle of the woods … 😳

What the devil is going on?

This may be marked and marketed as a horror novel — and it has plenty of horror and gore to follow up on that.

But the emotion being put into telling this ‘monster’s’ story is suberb. 10/10. No notes. A antihero on par with the monster in Frankenstein tbh

The language in this book is so interesting. The way Graham Jones easily switches between the characters’ tone seems effortless and really makes for an interesting read.

Really enjoying this so far although the horror so far has been lesser than expected.
