Still great and still as depressing.

Still a great story, but I have a couple of issues with it this time around.

Re-reading one of my favorite books, haven't read it in a couple of years, lets see if it's still as good.

Liked the movie better.

Still a fascinating story that has me wanting to read more. But I can't help to feel that it has a underlining sadness to it.

Hmm...Bush is president? That means this takes place in late '89. I thought it was earlier.

Still waiting for the crime novel to start. Thus far it's been the daily life of electronics salesmen in DC during the 80s. Still weirdly fascinating for some reason, must be the time period.

A few pages in and I already hate the way it's written and find the main character annoying.

The crime reveal was painfully obvious, not necessarily a bad thing but looses "shock-value".

Or it could be that I'm jaded.

Gillat det mesta hittills men inte riktigt perfekt, vissa saker känns clichéaktiga på ett negativt sätt.

Beskrivningarna av Oswald när han misshandlar hans fru blir extra obehagliga då de troligtvis hände på liknande sätt i verkligheten.

Den var läsvärd och intressant som en 'rethinking' av Batman mytologin, även om jag inte riktigt gillar alla aspekter som Gordons & Alfreds nya bakgrunder.

Om man bortser från den melodramatiska tonårshandlingen, så är den så oerhört vackert skriven.

Damnit King! Don't give your characters happiness if you are just going to take it away a couple of chapters later! I knew I should have stopped reading for the day when that chapter ended on a high note.

The digital transfer to this ePub is far from great. Have to spend to much time trying to unscramble and find the correct words.

And I predict that the guy that committed suicide was actually a pedophile. Call it a hunch considering the subject of the book and that cases in books like these usually have a connection with each other.
