Ah… that’s why everyone kept saying I am not ready for ACOMAF! GPT made me a spoilerless skill-tree of emotional training, tuned for a wanderer who moves by instinct and resonance. Apparently chaotic, non-linear, multiverse-hopping order possible… seems about right!

When we work only to live, life shrinks to survival.
When we live through our work, it becomes creation.
The life waiting for us begins where striving ends.

Somehow I missed this luminous woman who shared an intellectual ménage à trois with Nietzsche and Paul Rée, influenced Breuer, became a confidant of Freud and the muse/lover of Rilke.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart…
and try to love the questions themselves…”

History doesn’t repeat, but it sure rhymes.
I’m just glad the pattern in the rain didn’t ruin the rhythm of living it.

Ok this one is really good. Must read. I’m not sure I will agree with everything by the end but by chapter 3 I already know I’m buying copies for people.

Let them be. I’ll be, too. Creation requires motion. (ツ)_/¯

• Stoicism & Control (Epictetus: Enchiridion) – Suffering comes from trying to control the uncontrollable.
• Daoism & Wu Wei (Laozi: Dao De Jing) – Effortless action, letting things flow instead of forcing them.
• Existentialism & Responsibility (Sartre: Being and Nothingness) – If we can’t control others, what does full ownership of our own existence mean?

the way she frames it feels like she found her own version of wu wei through language and conceptual framing. It’s the moment when someone stops trying to control others and instead surrenders to what they can and can’t influence. Maybe this is a common spark between people—the point where they realize their agency is only over themselves, and they stop wasting energy on what’s outside their control.

Alright- I’m 27 minutes in…. Mel seems to be promising a lot here. Let them be as a conceptual/framework for reducing your expectations of others by realigning focus to what you can do?

Welp… got to the riddle from Amarantha. Seemed pretty obvious oh ya to me and I made a mistake and had GPT confirm I was right.

I stick by earlier statement that for a romance book, there isn’t a ton of romance. I mean at least there isn’t a ton of teenage angst…

Oh and don’t get me started on the reverse noblesse oblige. I don’t get why he has to turn them into wolves if the key is hating fairies?

Ok the intro was super dry… but this caught my attention. The mathematical theorem of communication… two of my weak concepts in 1?

Pretty good. I have a feeling this would read well in conjunction with John Green’s Turtles All the Way Down as a companion book.

I definitely heard a few useful tips and tricks. I don’t think I was in the right mindset to get what I truly wanted/needed out of this book, but I can always read it again later.

Oh my this is fascinating. I think there is a different author for this series "Arcane Ascension" and "Weapons and Wielders"! The writing style feels completely different imo. Arcane Ascension is driven more off conversations I think the author is drawing from real life. It seems like the different Andrew Rowe's meet up after a while and the way they see the shared universe changes I think! Maybe he is just that good

Whoa 1/3 in and blown away so far. I am always fascinated how many strings I can find to Peter Senge/ Robert Greenleaf and the evolution of their theories, while never hearing it as a progression. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe this will prove me wrong in another 2/3's but it seems like every great leadership book nowadays is coming across as re-inventing the wheel since they are trying to only speak to their experience.
