Somehow I missed this luminous woman who shared an intellectual ménage à trois with Nietzsche and Paul Rée, influenced Breuer, became a confidant of Freud and the muse/lover of Rilke.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart…
and try to love the questions themselves…”

History doesn’t repeat, but it sure rhymes.
I’m just glad the pattern in the rain didn’t ruin the rhythm of living it.
