I am on ch8 out of 20 ch, not sure how to mark my % or page # in an audiobook book but i have 6hrs left out of 13 hrs. So far this book is very interesting but extremely violent. There is a bit of romance but it’s extremely slow burn but it kinda has to be. These are very young preteens being sort brainwashed into working for this group because it’s literally life or death i am very interested in the out come.

I normally don’t update in the middle of a read but this book is giving me the “seriously” vibe and just thought i would vent about how totally ridiculous they are. I loved the first book so intensely but this one is dramatic.. hope it gets better.

I would just like to say Scarlet and Ace Re HOT HOT 🥵 HOT!! Like burn you and you like it hot.. 🔥 ( ok back to the book 🤩)

Caleb’s description of him &the other heirs mourning their loss for Darius was so incredibly heartbreaking that I balled my eyes out! Oh my gosh the description of this audio narrator, of the pain and grief could not be more profound. What an incredible job both authors and narrator did here! Wow i am blown away by the emotions.

I will come back to this, not only is it a bit cringy and sappy and just ick.. but i don’t want to take time out of the story to hear it right now. I will eventually read it.

I just realized this is a trilogy 😭😭😭 this book was published this year!! I hate waiting for the next book 😭. If it wasn’t so good already i would just stop now before i hear too much. Its too late because i have been sucked in.

I am having a hard time finishing this. Not because i didn’t love the series or the characters or the endings but because i did. I feel really satisfied with the last ending to the last book and i am having trouble getting into this book because i can’t see a need or a reason for it. I may come back and read this later but for now i am shelving it.

Just started this, one of my son’s wanted me to read it and I am trying but it’s a little slow, hopefully it picks up and space talk isn’t always something I enjoy so

I have been reading a lot of romantic-fantasy and going back to normal romance is hard. But I am enjoying the banter of these two characters, some things I dislike so far is she was so mad and then just slept with him… I mean I get it but it was like a totally different character all the sudden.

It’s hard to read a bit for me, I don’t really enjoy harem books in any form, male or female, but I seam drawn to see what happens but I am reading it super slow.
