For real, this guy was leaving eyeballs and bloody fingers all over the place because he tortures villagers for no reason, we’re just letting that go, huh.

I’m on chapter 12 of 109. Would not recommend this as an audiobook as most of the chapters so far are composed of quotes from other books and journals. Just doesn’t translate well off the page, even though each snippet has a different voice narrating.

Schein is talking about the use of economics in language ("pay attention" "pay the piper" "sell yourself short") without addressing at all that these are culturally specific idioms. It's jarring.

I can't believe this left the publisher with so many typos and such disjointed writing. I'm disappointed at the lack of quality in a graduate-level textbook.

Listened to the audiobook- it's looooong for this format. Download expired before we finished. Will re shelve and try to finish later.

I'm putting this back on the to-read list. It's good but not compelling.
