During my reading life, I’ve seen this title a few times and did not look into it once again my nephew comes to play because he bought the book and so I read it on my Kindle. It’s like the movie with Steve McQueen, where he tries to escape from Devil’s island only instead of Steve McQueen we have rabbits trying to escape their garden patch home and the adventures they encounter very entertaining book loving it.

Yes Watership Down makes you a rabbit at least in your mind. This book has jumped out at me many times to pick it up but never did. A nephew bought it so I did too. Not regretting that purchase because it has been a fun and exciting read.

It’s a well written book. If there really was a manuscript and there is not; don’t think it would do our planet justice. The bible is out there is human kind studying it. I think not.

Well the first few chapters had me hooked. And a coincidence of my own is like the part in this book where the protagonist has to go to Peru on a jet with little time to prepare. My nephew wanted me to travel to London. We settled on Amsterdam 🇳🇱. The story is intriguing.

This story will make you feel like a rabbit. And to read this tome is pleasure so far.

I have a hard time with the idea of two sects Catholic and Protestants being at odds with one another’s religious beliefs. I certainly wouldn’t have taken my anger out on the streets of Belfast or Londonderry. The rants of Ian Paisley against Catholic is what I’d like to delve deeper into. Like growing up in Chicago at a very young age I was hearing slurs about Jewish people. Not really knowing why?

With the immigration issue in Chicago, I am taking my mind off the troubles here in the city and reading about some real troubles in Belfast once again because I’ve read this book before.

Well maybe Al Gore did invent the internet; and the last thing I touch at night and first thing I’ll grab in the morning is the cellphone. So we’ll see what happens.

This one is quite the page turner. And as if I don’t have enough coincidences in my life; I’m waiting to board a jet to Birmingham Alabama. To see an old friend who is in a long time interracial marriage. Is this the reason why I’m going? No definitely not; but if you read the first hundred pages of Caste there’s the rub. I’m lucky I’m a reader. While on a city bus I saw someone reading it.

Captivating from the get go!

This is a true story. Although it goes back to the year 1779 and further the facts were written down by the crew. The author uses the facts and compiles those facts with his writing skills to give the reader a sensation of being abroad the Resolution Cooks sailing ship.The book is excellent and a must read!

Reading this for the second time and leaning even more. Because I had the time and means this book brought me to Staten Island, NY. There is where Fresh Kills sits a major thing in the book. Also hopefully if you do crack this one open the book I mean you can reward yourself with a YouTube documentary about Fresh Kills. The book is so damn relevant to our lives.

So far it’s been great. Is this fictional or is it from real life events that happened to Tan in her early life? Reading two books; I own Garbage Land and rented Bonesetter’s Daughter as an ebook for the Kindle.

Making me feel ten feet tall when really I’m only 0.500 of an inch. I encourage Goodreads subscribers to go back in their library arsenal and reread some of those proud words on their dusty shelves instead of going out and buying a new book. We’ve become a society of more,more,more instead of a society of enough.

With the coronation of the King of England coming up this weekend I started reading this. And so far it’s a great read.

I’m enjoying “ The Liars Club “ what a great story teller.

I’m on page 67 and really enjoy the book. Any type of book that tells a story and doesn’t take itself to seriously ( PKD VALIS ) is right up my alley.

Because I’ve read it once have it now on Audio books.

Listening to this on Audible books! It was recommended years back on a visit to Minnesota. I cannot wait for the ending of the story. Because every page has been mesmerizing and filled with suspense. A great listen.

Had readers cramp on the beginning of the book. But Pat Conroy the author loved it and now I’m back on track.

This is interesting and goes into a philosophical bend about humankind. I’ve joined Audible books and suck my thumb as it is being read to me.

So far excellent even with all the avant-garde saying his prose is too cluttered. If Pat Conroy recommends something to read; read it.

At first didn’t care for this to much soap opera . But this gets going and will finish up soon. The story is taking place in Islamabad.

This one was recommended to me from a ( now I can go many ways to describe the gal that lent me this here book but) the gal is in a book club. Is in a book club. Book club. Ok back to our book Burnt Shadows a story written by a lady. Question? Is it written for females Reason I’am asking is because I’m on page 80….. yes I intend to finish this book but had to go though a strong current of “Days of Our Lives
