Oh my. Already I'm thinking about what it would take to house a hawk. What is happening to me?

Almost finished, and will definitely get hard copy to re read. The audio version has an unpleasant robotic narrator but the content is worth it, which is saying a lot

Fascinating, esp from someone who knows regret, deep depression, and suicide ideation as his memoir, Reasons To Stay Alive, portrays.

Loving the audio version! I keep grinning and grinning at the beautiful authentic Irish accents and the gorgeous turns of phrase. And only an Irishman could have so many ways to describe rain.

Oh my. The color and heat and tension. I feel like I'm in India. But why must every name begin with B?

It's a treat to hear a story in the author's voice. I don't like the horror parts but I'm loving the British bits and pieces that make that world.

I thought I was finished reading WWII books, but the forgery and sabotage took me in. And I never expected this kind of story to be told so lyrically, especially a translated one.

It's not often that I literally smile while I read but that's happening now. I'm in the hands of a masterful writer.

Anita Yoder is on page 37 of 232 of Celibate Loving
This is an old fashioned book with old fashioned writing but I already am loving it. Catholics have done better than Mennos in articulating the costs and gifts of celibacy. They are naming what it takes to follow Christ as a whole, thriving person, single or married, in ways that are most refreshing and empowering.
