Very good writing but I can’t get over the tiny detail of the house being on an island you can only walk too when the tide is low

What rubbish am I reading? None of the characters are likeable but I’m near the end so I better finish it

Just not in the mood for the many layers and nothing really happening

Audiobook. Narrators have good voices for this type of book. There are a lot of GR reviews giving it 1 stars, they may need to try to Audiobook as it’s pretty great so far.

Audiobook. Narrators are a bit average, story so far has been written 1000 times before. I’ll keep listening while I’m doing house work as background noise

Audio book. Easy to listen to but not the best book. Just gruff and hard to like either of the characters

Hmmmm I don’t know, to me this is a lot tamer and more surface level than her others. Perhaps a good into book to Sara Cate novels. I will likely dnf. The writing isn’t bad and the story isn’t bad either just not what I’m used to.
