Il racconto della signorina Adele è il mio preferito per ora, anche se onestamente non credo di capire questa autrice e forse non dovevo iniziare a conoscerla con questa raccolta di racconti

Leggere storie come questa mi fa venire voglia di investigare e conoscere il mondo e la sua storia: il racconto di Ruth è così avventuroso e ricco di aneddoti, dalle condizioni di povertà e malattia del sud-est asiatico, agli incontri con i pirati, alle tragedie vissute dalla protagonista. Amo gli intermezzi con i racconti dalla libreria, ora conosco la vicenda di Fine Cotton e molto altro!!
