As I said in my review for the first book in the series, the opening scene is TOTALLY different than what happened in book one.

Do you think the author will let me proof read for her? Another book full of missing words and spelling mistakes. Ugh. It's a shame because I really like Owen so I'll keep slogging through.

My only negative is that the author hasn't left a line space between changes of scene/change of perspective. It's very confusing and is taking me a couple of sentences to realise it's a change of scene/perspective.

That weird moment when a character pops up with your surname. What's the bet he's a bad guy.

Read the first book in the set. Not sure if I'll go back and read the rest. It's got paranormal elements which was not mentioned at all in the blurb.

I'm giving up for now. May go back to it at a later date, but it's not clicking with me at all.

Struggling. Don't know why. It seems like this book is driven by emotions and flowery prose. Where's the action and kick ass SEAL's??

I think they are about to meet - finally!!!

So, even though this is book one, it actually occurs time wise after book two in the series which is a prequel (confused yet? I am). What this means is because I'm so anal, I'm hitting the pause button on this and going to book two (Sniper Fire) so that I don't get any 'spoilers'. Gotta read a series in time wise order. Can't read a prequel second. That's just plain wrong!!!!
