The number of times I've heard Finn, arguably the best character beside Lorna the ghost, say woof; the number of times I've heard her explain in minute detail how some task was being accomplished (stairs v. elevator, unloading her car, peeling potatoes - really riveting stuff! Let's have more of all of that /s)... If all of that were removed, this book would be a short story. Also, why is the MC so incurious???

I'm DNF'ing this. There are other books to spend time with. Maybe I'll come back to The Fall later but now I'm finding it tedious and not worthy of continued attention (esp when it keeps putting me to sleep).
