The number of times I've heard Finn, arguably the best character beside Lorna the ghost, say woof; the number of times I've heard her explain in minute detail how some task was being accomplished (stairs v. elevator, unloading her car, peeling potatoes - really riveting stuff! Let's have more of all of that /s)... If all of that were removed, this book would be a short story. Also, why is the MC so incurious???
