The book a turn after page 230. It has become sluggish and mundane. It is getting difficult tk read with focus and interest.

Akshi is starting Why the Constitution Matters: Selected Speeches | Justice D.Y. Chandrachud on Fundamental Rights, Landmark Judgments & the Constitution’s Role in Safeguarding Democracy
Have only been through Introduction till now and it is already a book for people with deep analytical thinking. Refreshing to read his point of view on nationally important matters from a legal mixed with humane point of view.

I haven’t read such a simple yet gripping story in a very long time. There are many historical as well as contemporary events intertwined with the story. It is cross between myth, science and reality. Craftily written, an interesting read.

No, no, and no, every chapter is a new character with a new story. Nothing building in the book. It is an accumulation of possible story lines that came to the author's mind. The best way she could find to include all of them: introduce a new character every chapter, tell their story and weakly link that character to the previous one. At the end, only have a bunch of characters with small stories. Waste of time.

The story is uninteresting and discontinuous. There are many time leaps and every chapter introduces a new character's perspective and by the end they all combine. Not my cup of tea. Will probably drop the book. It is slow moving and haphazard.

Akshi is on page 50 of 342 of Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World – and Why Things Are Better Than You Think
Been through 50 pages now. None of the bar graphs has data from India or China. They have 36% of world population yet their opinion is not good enough on whether the world i getting better or not?
Skewed data, one person's perception. It is a not a book I would refer to anyone.

22 pages on and I am already tired of the overuse of the words "misconceptions", "misleading" and "misperceive".

Just finished the introduction. It feels like a rant about how everyone in the world has ill conceived ideas and misconceptions. From the introduction I am not excited about the book anymore.

I have lost all interest in reading the book. The stories are so long and winding that one stops seeing the actual matter of the book. The things that could have been said in one line are taking 5 pages. Too much focus on side-stories than the title of the book.

Done with the first 2 chapters and I already feel like there is too much of repetition. I read the intro and felt that it will be a good read. 10% read and I feel like I am losing interest because of the same elongated repetition of ideas.
