was not expecting the Three Body Problem x Gathering Moss crossover, but reading them at the same time the introduction of how water bears functions made me realize that the desiccation protocol in TBP isn’t even that far out there!

just got back into this a few days ago and finished the first book, reaaal solid stuff right there and why does it feel like Rowling ripped 80% of her ideas from this. tombs of atuan is giving major exploring cults in a world that is actually magical vibes and im digging it
