The most relatable thing in this book is Francis freaking out bc Charles stole his keys and drove his car with the top down while it was raining. I would Freak Out if that happened to me, and I don’t even have a nice car

Rip Bunny - you were too annoying to let live

Ryland Grace is a crazy name. I’m not sure what year this is set in, but Grace has aggressive millennial energy to me

EVERYONE IS BACK FROM THE DEAD! VICTOR CAME TO SAVE MITCH AND SYDNEY! ELI WANTS TO KILL EVERYONE! We’re so backkkk

Parts two and three completed. Where the fuck is Victor - I need more Victor pls! How long can you keep dead bodies in a morgue? Weeks? Years? I think the timeline is wrong in my head.

Part one complete. Victor being pissed that he’s “normal” is the most on brand thing ever. Sydney calling Mitch “dad” is everything to me.

Crazy how I remember none of this

Ok I think I figured out why this book doesn’t hit as hard as book one - the timeline is so all over the place that it’s hard to follow what everyone is doing at which time. I can piece it together using context clues but it’s not “easy” in the same way Vicious is.

I love confusion, unreliable narrators, memory distortion, creepy nature stuff, and cool world building!

Maybe I’ve evolved past the era where I really enjoy Olivie Blake’s style bc this book is kinda annoying me. I know I’m not supposed to like “asshole” boyfriend Marc but he’s honestly my favorite character so far. Idk about this one.

Nostalgic banger. Imagine beefing with your uncle so much you travel to another world.

Oh my god so much is happening. Thank god Niko is back he just has that “Lan” vibe that I’ve been missing since Lan died in book one. I love that everyone is old now - go old people!

Things are escalating big time :0

Well damn I was right, and now Lan is dead. RIP Lan.

Uh oh I smell a Lan mental breakdown in the near future

Jesus Christ it’s soooo nasty out here in wizard society

I can’t go to the library right now and I need to readddd so here comes a re-read of this series

Why is this soooo boring holy shit

I wanted the prince to be 10k in debt to a mob boss for a FUN reason, not just bc Mr mob boss bought all the princes debts :/

VICTOR VALE QUOTE BEFORE THE BOOK STARTED OH BABY
