Why have I not read this way sooner?! Amazingly appropriate in a lot of ways to the 2020’s

Outstanding

This is like Sherlock Holmes meets Pillars of the Earth, with a little Mary Shelley sprinkled in. Tedious at times, but great so far.

This is probably my fourth time reading this book. It really hits different after the pandemic of 2020 and the current state of religion and politics.
