This is just really disappointing. Like the section on the eagle is just talking about eagle iconography which is fine but Rome/Germany/USA could have picked something different and we'd have the same stuff. We've discussed nothing special about this bird. Except repeating silent spring. But glad someone might have learned that this bird sucks

I'm tempted at the DNF but going to let the audiobook play since I need to finish up some things for my reading goal.

Do you ever realize that you're like 50% of the way through a book and get extremely nervous for the characters??

Books with unlikable MC are always strange.

The best part about reading on my phone is getting to skip and skim read this. It is slightly better but I almost DNF when I saw how much I had left earlier.
