I will not be finishing this. It is a dry read for me.. but then again what I expected I’m not sure haha! I read a biography on JFK by this author years ago- that one I did finish, although it took me 2 years. This just feels like more information than I need- and at this point in my life there’s only so much room up there in my brain so I need to be selective

I won’t be finishing it. I think I read it a very long time ago, but I don’t remember anything about it. And I enjoyed the beginning- John Steinbeck is a gifted writer. I have recently read Travels with Charley and the Grapes of Wrath. I know this book is considered one of his best… it just wasn’t for me

Glad I didn’t let the long and rambling intro from I don’t know who- to deter me from taking this on
So far- I’m enjoying it

Sorry- I know this is a classic children’s book- at least one of my children read it years ago as I still have it on a bookshelf and I decided to check it out- I got about halfway through and I just did not care enough about what happened in the end to keep going 🙃
