The beginning was atrocious. Opening straight into a virgin at a brothel was weird af and cringe. Tbh, if this hadn’t been the only book I had on me today I may have stopped then and there, but it’s getting better. Now that there’s fighting and action I’m more interested. Hawk seems super bland tho, he needs character depth and development STAT.

It’s giving WattPad. Which I support! WattPad is a great way for beginning authors to test their ideas to an audience before striking out attempting to publish. But I’d expect by the time that sucker hits print it doesn’t look like it escaped from a teenager’s Tumblr. I’m going to finish it, but I don’t think I’d ever recommend it. Obvi I’ll update if it gets better.

I like the premise, it’s a creative idea that blends Percy Jackson and Fourth Wing (both of which I loved). But baby GIRLLLL….we need help with sentence structure, pacing, and just over all execution.
