I'm on page eleven, and if this had been on my kindle I'd have the whole lot so far highlighted, and if it had been my own personal physical copy, I might have broken my lifetime rule of 'not ruining a book' by using highlighter OMG IT'S SO GOOD AND SO CLEVER AND SO FUNNY AND SO INSIDER

This is the most amazing instant sleep tool I've ever used. For that solitary fact, and no other, I'll be sorry when I'm finished.

I listened to most of this during a couple of nights in hospital, and then my Spotify "ran out" of audiobook credit??!? Probably just as well. I was ready to hit my phone with a sledgehammer just listening to her voice and listening to her "totally true stories and things that she definitely did and said" 🙄🙄🙄

omg this book has a lot of preamble

I can't read this. It's twisted and warped real facts, it's omitting actual world events, it's profoundly racist, it's messing my head up with cognitive dissonance (ah, the cradle of ancient Greeks and the Pope is being destroyed, the two things that make us REALLY Europe..... says the clearly Brexit supporting English author)

I just can't. Don't bother. Big fat NO.

Change of plans: gonna go with my original idea and reread PPD first. Too good an opportunity to miss.

I could quote this book all day, but I can't count how many times this has been me...

I think the Swedish title would have been far more suitable (Men Who Hate Women) because that seems to be the only plot in this book. Also "Women Who Are Not Based On Reality". And "More Dry Facts Than You Ever Thought You Could Bear".

Literally printed out a three page, post-CoG family tree doc (thank you, dedicated fan), and am swotting up on a CoG wiki synopsis, because I cannot keep any of these people straight in my head anymore. (update inclusive of more than one in-joke there...)
