Should I quit and just skip to book 9? I was keen for the new pov at first but im over it now

Honestly no idea where this is going, very intrigued

Feels like a very slow read but im still intrigued

Okay, I ACCIDENTALLY started this before book 8, thinking I had just finished book 8 when it had actually been book 7. So I already had read a bit, and I wouldn't typically even read a novella (especially because these books are already huge) but I thought this was the next in the series and once I started I was intrigued. So here we are, reading another big boy book in this universe when I also want it to finish up

This book just feels like its taking FOREVER and barely anything has happened

Just haven't been listening to audiobooks as much right now - too distracted. But ive enjoyed what ive heard so far

Trying to convince Fern against her natural instinct. Like they couldn't have had a real conversation with her once prior to this all happening? A holes. Taking the baby away to be fed? Nooooooo

The lack of regard for someone as a person, the medical takeover, the extra 2 stitches, not letting her see the baby when she asks. The whole book has been fine so far - but now I'm livid, how dare they!!!!

Much happier with the progress in this one, but still soooooo much writing for so little. Im still enjoying it, just wish I got more info faster from the scenes
