I hate this book because it could have been soooooooooo good.

So far, rather horrible.

I hate this book. Not only is it dry, the ideas it peddles are awful.

So… there’s a chance that if SenLinYu wrote a book about a catholic priest travelling to feudal Japan to solve a heinous crime, I might like it.

Ono kad tražiš novog Harryja Pottera i onda te nervira što je knjiga slična Harryju Potteru. Some people…. Really!

Was it really necessary to make me like the one character I genuinely disliked? Please stop doing this.

This book is so useless.

anyone who says this is well-written is either blind or a liar.

Wow. Just wow. Many wows. All the wows. None of them are good.

Books like these are why I read. Books that make me shut my eyes, grit my teeth and cover my mouth to silence an audible gasp. Books that make me feel connected to the world and disconnected from it, books that make me marvel at what human beings can create through sheer power of words. Butcher’s Crossing is all that. And let me tell you, out of the three Williams’ books I’ve read, it’s my least favourite.

Neither pissed nor proved wrong. RF Kuang delivers not, again.

In a mood for getting pissed or being proved wrong.

This book is so beautifully written that, at times, it's easy to disregard that nothing (interesting) happens and that the characters are rather flat.

Good grief.

When you feel the need to point out your hero is not a sociopath, you might have grounds to reexamine some of your choices.

This is I think the first time I decided to read a book just because I was impressed by the author’s autobiography. Let’s see.

I've read some weird things this year, but Fury takes the cake.
