Very interesting plot. A page-turner.

I have mixed opinions about the book. Knowing it was true broke my heart for Tara. I’m so sad several people in her family abused her in different ways. I. The other hand, I’m proud of her hard work to go to college and pursue a life that didn’t depend on her unreasonable parents. Kind of depressing read.

I liked the way the author wrote, although the subject matter was disturbing.
