eating this up but worried bc book 2 is out but book 3 has no release date and i don’t trust my memory to remember all the nuances of the politics in the story until then

wow can anyone recommend anymore military academy fantasy books bc i dig this

unnamed side character of this ancient-roman-esque-academy described as athletic with black hair and green eyes PERSEUS IS THAT U

not that it matters but this book uses the same font as the percy jackson books

reading this feels like i’m a teenager addicted to books again i can’t explain it

this book is very serious and my heart is with david but i laughed out loud when he said “ew why do people even like d***” HAHAHAH

will this live up to the hype? (it’s being compared to dark matter which i thought was meh so??) will i finish it in time to see the movie in theaters? do i like ryan gosling as an actor yet?
