The problem with this series is that everything is a repetition of scenes, dialogue, and context. I don’t understand how the author is stretching this series to infinity when the only thing that changes is the name of the characters.

This should be retitled to: Seraphena and the Very Long Monologue

My problem with this series (third book in) is the lack of cohesive style. The mood is all over the place, the female MC is entitled one moment then cunning in another.

This series is turning out to be another Jude and Cardin. The writing is so… elementary.

JLA has to seriously consider mapping out her characters and plot. In one page, Trinity says that they have to get him to talk. In the next few paragraphs, when he does talk, Trinity and Zayne doesn’t want to hear him talk. There’s a sequence to writing stories and instead of following that, JLA writes her books like we’re in a ping pong table and we’re the ball.

Ugh this girl needs a ball gag.

I HAD WAY MORE EMOTIONAL MATURITY THAN TRINITY AT HER AGE. This book should have been titled: Trinity and her Yo-yo Emotional Outbursts.

I’m not even halfway and the characters are so effing annoying. We missed entire backstories to this flaming train wreck of a book.

I’m struggling with this book. I started reading this after the ACOTAR series while waiting for Nesta’s book and I’m really struggling. It seems like there’s a lot of wish fulfillment from the author. Idk. I think this is the type of book I that I just have to finish so I know what the ending is. But I’m definitely not re-reading this in the future.

I’m already tired of Jude. She’s such a brat.
