I know how it ends, and yet I'm excited by the new evidence and my anticipation for the moment when I know Lisbeth and Mikael will meet.

I've seen the movie but not until now, reading the book, do I realize this story is essentially about the investigation of a cold case.

Better than expected so far.

I am watching the film adaptation tonight, and I will say this is one of those rare cases where the movie is better than the book.

Georgia is so jaded and it makes me sad.

This audiobook is not very good, but I'm enjoying the story a lot. The people doing the voices are a bit cringe-y. I have a feeling I'd like it better if I were reading it in print.

I didn't realize this would be a dual timeline story, but to my pleasant surprise, I'm enjoying it. There's a sense of tension in knowing that Scarlet and Jameson had at least one child but not knowing what happened to them as a couple.

I'm listening to this on audiobook. It's off to a good start! Rebecca Yarros says this is her favorite book she's published, so that sparked my interest.

If I wasn't invested before, I am now.

Now that I'm about halfway, I'm really enjoying this story. In some ways it's like When Harry Met Sally. In other ways, it's a much more updated story that fits with the setting of 2022 New York City.

I admit I've been skimming over some of the more drama-heavy sections, but overall I like the story so far. Looking forward to finding out how things play out fot Livvy and Nicholas.

I picked up this book again after pausing for several months, about halfway through. It's good - it is. I think I just needed some time before I felt ready to put effort into creativity again.

I'm invested! And I relish how things are becoming more complicated and less predictable.

I'm savoring the cozy Christmas vibes and the blossoming friendship between Harriet and Nolan.

Bum bum bum so we found out what Carrie's secret is! I have mixed feelings about it and honestly think things worked out for the best in her regard, even though she's having a hard time of it.

I like Lucy and I'm happy she's got a chance to have some fun away from the city and her Mom and Gran who are a couple of stuffed shirts.

So much could go wrong! Really feeling the stakes are high.

I like the character of Carrie best so far, though the main five are all likeable. She's closest to my age and I'm curious about why she REALLY left her skiing job.

Things are heating up! Loving the squad loyalty.

So far, I like it! It's a stark contrast to the Romance-Fantasy genre of The Empyrean series (which I'm also in the midst of reading). But I'm getting a cozy vibe and 'Winter Solstice' is a perfect story to read in December. I'm interested to find out what happens next for Elfrida.
