Well written and interesting, but sometimes heavy on detail. Currently coming to grips with The Diamond Necklace Affair of 1785.

It's great to read a book and not know what it is going to be about. I was under the impression this was going to be a contemporary office drama. Ha!

woke up in the middle of the night thinking about the story I read before bed: "Corrie."
All these stories are wonderful. I think about the pile of story drafts Munro may have scrapped because they weren't successful (to her).
