I have not finished this book. I am 4 pages through. I got only 4 pages before i had to stop and laugh for a whole hour. Ive never been in a state of deeper hilarity. I have chronicled my experience of the first 4 pages of this book to everyone i know and now i shall chronicle it to the internet.
The book opens with the character lounging around in a bathtub in her period blood.

You like your emotions? You like happiness? WELL THIS BOOK JUST TAKES YOUR EMOTIONS INTO AN ALLEY THEN SHOOTS THEM.

Started reading this before I realized it was a companion! Can someone tell me if its necessary to read the original series?

I’m terrified I have an ebook copy of this and it says it’s 500 pages long. It takes me at least a minute to get through one of these pages!

The first page of Gum Baby’s introduction actually scared me...

I don’t know why but I really thought that Mabel would be going through a teenage pregnancy. Damn was I wrong.

I really wish I could understand what’s going on, I’m trying, and I’m interested, but wow this is not an easy book to read. I never thought about fascism directly after WW2 so reading about the fight against it is very informative.
