First chapter was very insightful. Written in 1990 and still very relevant to today. Excited to uncover more great things the introductory chapter started uncovering.

Well this book definitely went from feeling like a YA book to much more substantive in a short period of time. Really enjoying it.

Great quote from my latest batch of pages: “I only came back to myself when I decided something: all emotions are just energy, just potential fuel for action. Everything I felt about what I saw - the guilt and the terror - wasn’t poison. It was power.”

Turning out to be a little more of a young adult book than I had hoped. Still enjoyable read. Let’s see how it progresses

Pretty epic opening chapter. It’s hooked me.
