How does this series gather so much support? I can’t say I like Miss Peyton very much.

Maybe 6am isn't the best time to read this book. I was so confused about dark matters and quasaars, had to read the entire chapter again. lol

Do you have a favorite hero? I think I do. I would not think this is possible considering how many HR I have read. But I have to say yes there is one character that is my favorite. Tell me who is yours!

It is still gripping and I still felt compelled to read on, but I didn’t get “that feeling” while reading it this time around. I don’t know how to describe it. I want to feel with the characters but somehow I can’t seem to do that with any characters. I want to read a book that makes me a sap again.

I was serious when I said that I will be reading a lot this holiday season. I am going by 2 books a day. This is a fantastic vacation.

Very very interesting period novel in the civil war era, hard to digest the injustice and the hatred, light on the romance. I like Jesse Cameron, not so crazy about Kiernan. I imagine I will end up giving the book 3 stars unless something fantastic happens in the second half. But I don’t know how. Kiernan’s pig-headedness is not very charming and I don’t like a heroine too much like myself. lol

The writing is fine, but the story drags.........

Christmas Eve read

Reading one of my birthday present, i am loving it!

To make my Goodreads comeback I wanted a heavyweight book. I went back to one of my favorite authors and picked a book that I have never read. I am 30% in. Damn I love when a writer is able to push the limits. I am uncomfortable and yet I am compelled to read on. I want and need the characters redeemed and reconcile. But it’s all too early, too early.

Been rereading in the last two weeks and realized that I was wrong to think that I have recently lost interest in reading. I LOVE reading and rereading old favorites brings back all those mushy feelings. It's just I haven't met a book that interests me in a long while.

A rather ridiculous Cinderella/Sound of Music kind of story. Light-hearted bordering on silly. A very fertile scary hero who seemed more comics than anything and a silly heroine with daddy issues. I loved Teresa Mederois' other works but cannot say that I am impressed by this book so far.

Not a fan of Ava. Will is kind of typical. Nothing special in the relationship. It is probably just going to be one of those "it was ok" books.

BORING

Sigh mother heroine. This book is almost shot for me.

I read a autobiography-like novel about a girl's heartbreaking story about rape, sex, illusion of romance and her eventual mental breakdown. The writer published the book in February 2017 and committed suicide just a few days ago. She was 26. Before she passed away, she was battling a severe case of mental disorders. Her suffering was so palpable in the book.

Be at peace now, I hope you have finally found it.

fascinsting book

This Amy frustrates me. Her experience is hard to relate to for me and I feel awful that I am feeling impatient with her. Want to abandon ship now.

Women in business, this is one book we should all read.

I have not felt this way about a book in a year now I think. Please be good!!
