Do you have a favorite hero? I think I do. I would not think this is possible considering how many HR I have read. But I have to say yes there is one character that is my favorite. Tell me who is yours!

Gilgamesha My all time favorite is Sir Ross from Lady Sophia's Lover and Julian from The Duke of Shadows...I can't think of the rest at the moment lol ;)...Happy New Years Love

Zoe And to you too my dear! Sir Ross is indeed pretty charming. I should read the Duke of Shadow next then. lol I think my favorite has to be Harry Pye from The Leopard Prince. I have a soft spot for the common man. lol

Gilgamesha He was a memorable hero...I just didn't like him much because he was so pigheaded about marrying his Lady lol...I think Hoyt is good at writing better heroines than heroes. From Hoyt hero's I like Samuel from To Taste Temptation.

Zoe i am rereading the book now and i think the story is alright, but i dont know why he made such an impression on me. I think I like how quiet he appeared to be on the surface with all kinds of thoughts going through his head. It cracks me up because I am like that all the time and always am wondering what people would say if they could hear my internal dialogues. hahahahaha

I just checked To Taste Temptation to see what I remembered about Samuel. I don't remember squat!! lol

Gilgamesha lol...his internal dialogues were definitely interesting because of his middle class background....he was so crude sometime lol.....but that book has two of my all time favorite love scenes....I wish Hoyt writes more stories like those again.

Bubu I couldn't possibly narrow it down to one hero. I've thought about your question, and nope, it won't do. If I think of one hero, another pops up.

I thought this is how it would be for me! There are so many charactesr that have made an impression on us. How is it possible to have just one favorite? There are quite some great heroes but I always thought hmm they are great for their heroines. But Mr. Harry Pye, man, den nehme ich nach Hause!

Bubu Ich muss das Buch noch mal lesen. Nicht, dass es eine Last waere, ein EH Buch wieder neu zu lesen :)

I think if we made a different list that narrowed down the heroes to their types (best broody, best funny, best anti-hero, etc), it'd probably be easier. But, say a list of 'name your five most favourite heroes', would still present me with the same conundrum.

Zoe I think one thing we know for sure: there is enough for everybody. lol
