Does listening to an audio book classify as having 'read' a book for the book challenge?

I am reading out I order simply because it was the first book I plucked from the library shelf. I am enjoying it so far, however it did take me six chapters in to do so. Can I ask if anyone else has noticed the similarities between Cornwell and Reichs? Who cane first?
