I’m hooked and anxious.

This book feels like eating empty calories. There’s no real distinction between either MC. Neither has any serious back story. The writing is shallow and empty. There are no stakes. It feels bland & empty. And it’s cringe. As the author is trying to push attraction, it feels forced and contrived. We hear their thoughts but there are no situations showing attraction. I’m not sure this is gonna get more than a 1*

Two doctors and barely an hospital activity. I’d have preferred a medical romance. The characters are a little cringe. Maybe it’s the writing?

Lightweight and easy. Not sure either character is particularly interesting.

Haven’t been happier to see the end of a book since The Duke.

Nasty. Gross. I hate this book so much.

This is quite exciting. I’m really enjoying this. First really interesting book since Blood Defense and Moral Defense by Marcia Clark.

Entertaining.

Book is stressing me out. Clearly not enjoying this psycho thriller.

I seem to have zoned out of the second half of this book. Can’t tell you much of what happens. Becomes a bit of a snooze fest. Haven’t really enjoyed this experience. Happy to see it end. 1*

Fast paced. High octane. Not used to stories that don’t assess characters so I have to story by itself. I guess it’s fun. The last techy book I read was Kyra Anderson’s The Significant, which I really enjoyed. This isn’t giving like that one though. Will keep listening.

How is nothing happening, everything cringe, and yet I’m still listening. Feels mindless. Bunch of interviews that clearly have no meaning. The cast are barely people. Everything is a caricature. Still listening though!
