What Ianthe did was wrong. I never liked her and Feyre needed to know the truth but also I feel like letting someone watch sexually explicit memories of another person is also wrong?? It’s like showing someone a video of a person having sex without that person’s consent? Idk. I’ve never really thought about it until now.

Yeah… their relationship has all been based on lust without true love in this book so even if I hadn’t had the plot spoiled, I wouldn’t have been surprised with the trajectory of their relationship

Okay, yeah… this is better. It’s a bit slow right now but it’s not as god awful as book one. Also, the PTSD rep? And the fact that Feyre has troubles with red hair because of her trauma? I feel seen.

Okay fine since I liked Crescent City and Throne of Glass, I guess I’ll give this series another chance

This book sometimes reads like a writing tutor trying to romanticize writing tutoring 😭 I got certified to be a writing tutor at my school. I know the signs of a fellow writing tutor

I can’t get over the image of Izzy reading and Beau just jumping in the pool to literally do the butterfly. This book is so cheesy 😂

The writing style feels very young? Like it feels like it would fit a YA or middle grade novel better than an adult novel

Nah, we doing page to page updates with this one because this is wild. It just called Lily “Lilly” and then proceeded put “parents” in quotations as if Lily and James aren’t actually Harry’s parents

Only on page 4 and it already has so many inaccuracies and it’s poorly written 💀
