I have a very deep unease while reading this book.

There is a very deep internalized misogyny, xenophobia, and an excuse for male violence and overall shitiness that I can't get behind.

I keep hoping that the point is to show the societal environment, but I keep getting the impression it's actually the author's real voice.

this drivel is never-ending.

half way in. the narration is great, but I should have written this book 20 years ago. Now it all seems that I've read/listened to it before.
